Grisha Bruskin

Gregory (Grisha) Bruskin is one of the of the best-known living contemporary Russian artists with an international reputation. He gained world fame in 1988 at the first auction of Russian art at Sotheby’s in Moscow, when his painting “Fundamental Lexicon” (1986) was sold for a record price. In 1999 he created a monumental triptych titled Life before everything for the restoration of the Reichstag in Berlin. In 2012 Bruskin received the Kandinzky Prize in the “Project of the Year”. The artist lives and works in New York and Moscow.
